This female-only, 20km event is held at two locations – the original one in Hangzhou, a prosperous city close to Shanghai, and the center for Chinese trail running, and in 2017 we also added a stage in Dujiangye near Chengdu. These races allow the company direct access to the growing female running market.
The race is themed – the runners are encouraged to dress up as if taking part in a Cosplay event and male runners can enter only as pacemakers dressed as rabbits. A great deal of effort goes into the design and the props for the race, and it has become a must-go event on the Chinese running calendar.
The race is sponsored by global sports brands: Suunto, Salomon, Altra, and Nathan.
